The natural process of breathing has been with us since birth, yet in our journey though life we have collected various obstacles that impede its free flowing nature. Yoga and meditation can help remove physical tension and clear the mind of unhelpful attitudes yet often the deepest challenge is to understand the habitual and restrictive patterns of breathing that we have adopted.

A simple yet profound practice is to observe your breath throughout the day. Notice its rhythms and tendencies on waking, when stressed or busy, while socialising, just before sleep.

Take your insights onto the mat and through mindful movement create the conditions that allow the breath its natural freedom.

Freedom in the breath brings freedom in the mind.
